A few small account habits can make Hive easier to manage. Keep your sign-in details private, review the settings that affect how Hive reaches you, and take a moment to read in-app notices before confirming purchases or account changes.
01 · Sign-in protection
Keep codes and passwords to yourself.
Never share your password or a one-time sign-in code with another person, including someone who says they are helping with your account. Use a unique password where a password is part of your sign-in, and secure the email account or phone number you use to access Hive.
If Two-Factor Authentication is available in your account, review the in-app explanation and enable it if it suits your needs. The available sign-in and security options can vary by account and app version.
02 · Your preferences
Choose how Hive keeps in touch.
Open Account Settings to review email and push preferences. Your phone’s system settings also affect push notifications, so check both places if alerts are not arriving or you would like fewer of them.
If you stop receiving important account email, check the address associated with your Hive account and your junk or spam folder. Do not follow a link in an unexpected message if you are unsure it is legitimate; open the app or contact support directly.
04 · A lasting decision
Before you delete your account.
Account deletion can be permanent and may remove your Hive profile and associated data and sign you out. Read the full in-app confirmation before proceeding, and save anything you want to keep first. Uninstalling the app is not the same as deleting an account.
If you cannot access your account or have a question about deletion, contact Hive support before taking an irreversible step. For a quick reference, see the Account answers.
